Room Acoustics

Room Acoustics

Improve In-Room Hearing Conditions.

How We Do It

Evaluation

We’ll start with an on-site consultation to determine acoustical requirements, aesthetic expectations, budgetary considerations and scheduling commitments. During our visit we’ll make specialized recordings and take dimensional measurements of the room to complete our survey.

Analysis

Next, we’ll identify the acoustical benefits and vulnerabilities of the space using advanced 3D computer models we develop with the recordings and measurements from your location. Then we’ll produce a report detailing current acoustical conditions and identifying specific concerns.

Design

Finally we’ll prepare a customized design that combines our creativity and experience with the mathematical precision and predictive capability of 3D model simulations. The result is a detailed plan for the application of acoustic modifications, documenting anticipated results.

About the Sound in Your Room

There are two types of complimentary sound that create the acoustic signature of a space. Distinguishing between them aids in understanding how surface treatment affects acoustics and why it deals exclusively with only one of the two.

About the Noise in Your Room

Noise interferes with the ability to hear and presents a strained listening environment. There are three different kinds of noise and three different paths it takes between spaces.
